Join Allie Geer for this workshop that will explore the benefits of self myofascial release. Using tools and self myofascial release techniques we will target areas of the body that are tense, restricted, and tight. We will explore the unique relelationship between our tissues and the nervous system. Through the nervous system we can encourage the unwinding of patterns that tend to manifest in the physical body. Benefits of this practice will be improved range of motion, increased hydration and circulation, and an overall relaxation improving our bodies capacity to recover. No yoga experience required for this workshop. Tools will be provided.
Allie is a senior Yoga Medicine® Registered Therapeutic Specialist, RYT 500, RPYT, Vedic Meditator, and RAD Master Coach based in Boulder, Colorado. She specializes in Myofascial Release & Prenatal Yoga. She leads YTTs, workshops, retreats, group classes & private lessons. Allie is currently working towards her 1000-hour certification with Yoga Medicine®.
