MISCARRIAGE CIRCLE

about this event

IN RECOGNITION OF OCTOBER BEING PREGNANCY AND INFANT LOSS AWARENESS MONTH

The Miscarriage Circle facilitated by founder of WMN Space Paula Mallis

Miscarriage is a taboo topic shrouded in silence and stigma. Given the fact that approximately 20% of pregnancies result in loss, it is too common and too important an experience not to engage in open dialogue. We invite you to do so with us. The Miscarriage Circle will provide a safe space for sharing experiences of heartbreak and hope as we honor our losses with like-minded women. While sharing our stories, we have the opportunity to support each other with the intention of facilitating a space for openness and healing. Through communing, our hope is to help bring the awareness that you are not alone, and instead, part of a robust global community of women who understand.

PAULA MALLIS

WMN SPACE FOUNDER

Paula is a facilitator of women’s circles and founder of WMN SPACE. When she was pregnant with her daughter Madeleine and navigating her own journey into motherhood, something shifted within her. She experienced a shift in consciousness that allowed her the opportunity to choose a more conscious approach to her life as a woman and mother.

Paula blends together her experience as a mother, her expertise as a doula, a facilitator, and her extensive training in spiritual psychology. Paula believes “birth” can manifest in many forms for women. As women, we have the opportunity to birth babies, projects, new versions of ourselves and all that we are called to bring into the world. Supporting women on their own unique journey in life is her deepest passion.
