EMPOWERING WOMEN OF COLOR TO INDIVIDUALLY AND COLLECTIVELY EXPRESS, HEAL, AND TRANSFORM
WITH HEATHER REBECCA WILSON
There is a powerful individual, collective, and intergenerational impact to living in a world that systematically oppresses women of color. Regular exposure to microaggressions, colonization, loss, as well as direct/indirect violence create embedded layers of trauma in our bodies leading to burn-out, dis-ease, numbness, depression, anxiety, body shame, and cycling through the same relationship patterns over and over again.
However, for many women of color, self-care is perceived as a luxury. Oftentimes, when we step into healing spaces, we feel as if we cannot truly be ourselves or even invisible. Through a guided process, we gain clarity around the limiting patterns created by oppressive forces and core wounding around slavery, racism, misogyny, sexism, etc. in our lives and lovingly transmute them into intentional and actionable change within ourselves, our communities, and the world.
In this safe, non-judgmental space you will experience a deeper connection to yourself, an increased sense of resilience, self-love, self-determination, and inspiration to liberate injustice within your own body. Women have the opportunity to share, journal, dance, and listen to the experiences of others. *This space is for cisgender, transgender, and gender non-conforming identified Women of Color.
